The Shasta County Republican Central Committee is an elected body. We are the local
==> 21 members are elected by registered Republicans every 4 years in the Presidential Primary election. Each member may choose an alternate to represent them and vote in committee during their absence.
==> 3 ex-officio members represent Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives, the CA State Senate, and the CA State Assembly. Each is appointed by the office holder as their voting alternate.
==> Member vacancies are filled by a vote of the committee.
Current Status of the Committee
Members of the Shasta County Republican Central Committee were elected in the March 5, 2024 primary. These members were seated at the January 13, 2025 organizing meeting and will serve for four years, representing the five Supervisorial Districts in Shasta County.
